“SPARE A THOUGHT FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES THIS CHRISTMAS”

Emergency ServicesMP THANKS HARDWORKING AMBULANCE CREWS

Community minded politician Douglas Alexander has offered his thanks to the hard work and dedication shown by emergency service workers during the Christmas period.

This time of year is one of the busiest of all for the emergency services thanks to accidents and incidents caused by overindulgence during the festive season as well as problems such as flooding caused by the current spell of bad weather.

Paisley and Renfrewshire South MP Douglas met with Ambulance Crews to pass on his personal thanks to all those workers who work extra hard at this time of year.

He said: “It is difficult to over-estimate the great work done by Ambulance Crews and all the emergency services at this time of year.

“Ambulance Crews, Police, Firefighters and NHS workers often find themselves with extra work in the run up to Christmas and year after year they rise up to the challenge and show their dedication and commitment to their work.

“I would like to personally thank each and every emergency worker in Renfrewshire and applaud their good work over the Christmas and New Year period.”

“We all rely on them and they do us proud.”
