I welcome WIlliam Hague's agreement today to my calls that he comes to the Commons tomorrow, and that there be a vote before he arms rebels.

Just finished debating the Middle East in front of an audience of 200 on a very sunny Saturday: thanks to Iona Community for organising.
Great to be at the Accord Summer Fayre in Paisley Town Hall. The hospice does brilliant work for our community.

Better Howwood Broadband!
Join me in the Campaign for a decent Internet Connection in Howwood! Many of us now take our fast, smooth Internet access for granted these days but the community of Howwood, which is only 14 miles from Glasgow City Centre, and 7 miles from Glasgow Airport, cannot get proper access to the worldwide web. The Internet signal is so poor it's simply not workable and proves a constant frustration. Residents, the local school and businesses are missing out.
